Computer Recycling:

Items Accepted: crt's (monitors/televisions), computers, network servers, large office computer equipment, cpu boxes, laptops, printers, fax machines, cd-roms, dvd-roms, vcr's, audio equipment, video games, disc drives, modems, cards, keyboards, computer mice, electronic wires or plugs, pc speakers, recording, surveillance or camera equipment, digital cameras, cell phones & accessories, lcd products, parts or pieces of computers as well as regulated and non-regulated appliances such as air conditioners, refrigerators, stoves, microwaves, mini-refrigerators and coolers.

Monitors: Computer monitors are either picked up at your location by CRT Recycling or dropped off at our Brockton, MA facility by truck. The computer monitors are then unloaded by hand and placed in appropriate sectors of our warehouse for proper determination of reuse or recycling. Computer monitors that cannot be reused containing cathode ray tubes are accepted into our facility where the tubes are then removed. Plastics and electronics are separated and sent off for proper recycling. We drill a hole in the tube or twist off trigger in order to release the vacuum, remove all external straps, place tubes into metal containers then crack the glass to pull out the inside shield. Glass is then sent out for proper washing and glass-to-glass recycling.

We at CRT Recycling Inc. hold a class A recycling permit and comply with all state and federal guidelines regarding the disposal and/or recycling of CRT’s.

Appliance Recycling:

CRT Recycling is authorized to accept or pick up refrigerators (large and small), air conditioners, microwaves, stoves and most other freon bearing or non-freon bearing appliances. Our main purpose, by either reusing or reselling these items, is to reduce the amount of solid waste that actually reaches the State contractor for disposal. If it is determined that the item can not be reused, the freon is then extracted by authorized technicians and metal and compassiters are separated for proper recycling.

Styrafoam Recycling:

Now Available to all municipality customers: Free Bins – Free Pickup with normal e-waste pick-up.

We would like to introduce the Styrofoam Take Back Program to all municipality customers of CRT Recycling. We will remove any Styrofoam you collect along with your normal e-waste pick-up for FREE! We can send a bin to collect the Styrofoam and are able to recycle this material on site. Please check out the pictures below! Inside every covered electronics or appliance box when purchased is Styrofoam. It stands to reason that a city or town would accumulate this material along with accepting old electronic waste. We can now recycle this material for you for free! Just collect it in the bins we provide and let us know at the time of your normal electronics or appliance pick-up, then it's FREE!
